Our phone suddenly started ringing last Friday around 5pm
I then checked my emails, they were coming in thick and fast. Apparently, according to our patients (via the ticker tape below Boris) on his daily briefing, dental practices will be opening on 8th of June. Thankfully I was actually given special permission to treat a few emergencies last week, the one below was very happy to see us, to say the least! Please note our new gear 🙂
We are back, but, no routine dentistry for a few weeks, we have a large backlog to clear. We are still in level 4 of a pandemic, therefore I ask you to be patient; examinations, hygienes and fillings will have to wait a little.
Everyone that has called and emailed is on a list, we are going through that list in the order that we received your contact. Please be assured that your email or message has been noted.
Your Safety is My First Priority
-
- Pain
- Any facial swelling
- Broken/missing teeth
Once nationwide situation begins to improve, we will be opening up more slots in the diary, and then normal service will resume.
We have reserved Monday 8th June to Friday 19th June for urgent dental care only.
All other appointments in the diary will be removed to accommodate those in greatest need. I will review this in 2 weeks. I am really sorry if this causes inconvenience.
As the very top photo makes fun of, the last couple of months has been an incredible whirlwind, getting to grips with the latest safety guidelines; we are following The Royal College of Surgeons new rule book, it is not light reading! Dovile and I have been working around the clock to make sure that we have a new improved practice for you.
Thank you very very much for your patience, I know that some of you suffered, I am so sorry that I was not able to help you until now.
As soon as I got the news, I had butterflies in my stomach. On the one hand a big relief that we are back in action, but on the other hand, my mind was sharpened to the fact all this special time with Dovile and the boys was coming to an end. It has been very tough for us, but I learnt a lot about myself.
We are really looking forward to seeing you soon. We are ready to crack on!
